Fredericksburg Parking Map

Parking on the Fredericksburg Campus is by permit only (decal, hangtag or dash pass) and is required of all vehicles parked on the campus. This is applicable to all faculty, staff, students, contractors, and vendors to the University. Visitors and guests may obtain limited parking permissions as authorized by the Parking Management Office when properly requested by a University sponsor.

Jepson Fellows Guidelines

Each Fellowship award will be for one full academic year, and the recipient will have their teaching load reduced by one half during the time of the Fellowship. In accordance with established University of Mary Washington Foundation spending policies, proceeds from the gift will pay for the costs of hiring replacement instructors as necessary to support the teaching reduction of the Fellows.

UMW CourseLeaf CIM User’s Guide

UMW uses the Curriculum Inventory Management system known as “CIM” (pronounced KIM). The product is delivered by Leepfrog Technologies, Inc., Coralville, Iowa. As articulated in the Statement on Shared Curriculum Governance, the primary responsibility for curriculum development rests with the faculty. Grounding curriculum review and approval on the principle of shared governance recognizes that both the faculty and the administration have important roles to play in the process of approving and revising educational programs. CIM is designed to enable effective enactment of this shared curriculum governance process. Once proposals are submitted through CIM, they enter an established workflow for approval.
